The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) conducted sUAS training at the MCRCC field on Saturday June 5th. sUAS stands for “small unmanned aerial systems,” commonly known as drones. The Mississippi Wing of CAP is increasing its capacity to use drones in emergency services. Drones can be used to find missing persons, to inspect structures, and to conduct aerial mapping. Who knows, maybe CAP will be able to find your missing RC plane!
