Had a nice crowd out this weekend. Little hot and windy at times, but very nice in the afternoon time. I did not witness any major crashes, watched Chris do some un-natural things with his new profile plane, and just had a good time.

What a nasty weekend, Except for about 4 hours Sunday afternoon. Wind went to nothing, sun came out, birds flying, bugs biting, it was nice (except for the bugs). Flew my E-BalsaNova and my T-rex 450, had a good time. Steve, Bobby, Jim, Dicky, Jennifer (my wife) and I were there for a bit. Days like today make up for the bad ones in the RC hobby by far; Sometimes, just coming out to the field and watching the sun go down is reason enough to come out.

Forgot my camera, so here is a pic of my new toy. Feel free to post pics of your toys if you like. Just make a post on the bulletin board.

We are having a fish fry at the club at our next meeting. We need to get a lot of members out to discuss the Spring fly-in and the Christmas party. Members, come on out, eat some free fish and enjoy.

Also, Tony Stillman, our AMA District V Vice President will join us as our guest. Everyone should come out and make him welcome. Lunch will be around noon and club meeting at 2:00 pm.

Saturday and Sunday were two not so bad days to fly. Not much wind, little hot, but all in all not too bad. Had the usual (or unusual) crew out, Bobby, Chris, Tim, Steve, Tom, Jim, Arnold juts to name a few. Watched Arnold show off with his heli, heard some story about Tim chasing people down in his new truck @ 105 mph and watched Steve burn about 172 gallons of glow fuel in his Ultra Stick.

Here are some pics.

Just wanted to send the latest picture of Jerry (our former president). I got in a conversation with him Sat. in a parking lot in Biloxi. He is now living in D'iberville in a camp like lodging on St. Charles, but is in good spirits considering. Condolences go out on the loss of his mom, he says he will be coming out in the near future to see us.

Reporting to the club
