An unexpected gift from a very nice person

Recently I was given a plane that a person told me that he thought my grandson, JJ Parks, might like it. I was very surprised and pleased with the gift and told him I know he would love to have a plane like that.

Above is proof and let me thank that person for his gift to my grandson, it is his favorite possession and he's one proud young man.

Thank you Joe!

How do we say thanks to all the folks that came to our fly in. How do we say thanks to the good people of Harrison County. How do we say thanks to all the Members that worked so hard to make the event so good. The only way I can think of is, THANK YOU! A special thanks to our AMA officials and our AVP Paul for recognizing the efforts of the Good People Of Harrison County.

Dear Sir and All Members of the MCRCC:

My name is Sally Miller and I am Arnold's sister. I just read Jerry Gollot's tribute to my brother and my heart is so full of pride that I wanted to write and tell you how much you all meant to him.

For years I have listened to him talk about how proud he was to be a member and how your Flying Club was the best he ever found. I got the impression that MCRCC could, and did, out-do any flying club in America in my brother's opinion. From your grounds and facilities to your cookouts and most especially your members he never stopped raving about ya'll.

When he took his breaks from the Chemo it was to come home to Mississippi and recharge his soul. He couldn't get there fast enough--and he couldn't get to the flying club fast enough, either. I think you guys kept him going and for that I will be eternally grateful to you all.

He was my hero and my big brother and he was your friend. Thank you for all you meant to him and for your lovely words.

Your friend, Sally Miller
